Thank you for reading this week's newsletter, issue 21! We are getting closer to Christmas and there's a great deal of festive events happening this weekend! If you missed your chance of seeing Santa last weekend, then here's another chance to get a photo with him! Don't forget that this is also the last weekend to drop off your gift to our Give Drive. We are happy to have partnered with Catholic Charities to help local families in need.

Events This Weekend

The Christmas Bar Crawl

The Christmas Bar Crawl is almost here! Visit Old Town Wichita this Saturday from 4pm to midnight and have a jolly good time! Enjoy drink specials, food specials at select locations, a $500 costume contest, and more! Visit their website today for ticket details.

Kansas High Performance Racing Auction and Expo

Come out to Century II this Saturday from 8am-8pm for the 33rd Annual Kansas High Performance Racing Auction, Trade Show & Swap Meet! The show will feature drag race cars, engines, trailers, shop equipment, go-karts, and a whole lot more! General admission is only $12!

Christmas at BrightWater Bay

Stop by BrightWater Bay this Saturday from 4pm-8pm for a fun-filled evening! Their event will feature horse & carriage rides, photos with Santa, face painting, gingerbread decorating contest, and more! Make sure to contact BrightWater Bay for more details on ticket and photo prices.

Jingle Bell Run

Are you ready to run?  The Arthritis Foundation is hosting the Jingle Bell Run at the Exploration Place on Saturday at 9am! This is an annual festive race for charity and everyone is encouraged to dress up in their favorite holiday costume! Come out and have some fun while raising money for a great cause.

Free Photos With Santa

Here’s your chance to get your photo taken with Santa! Come out the the Kansas Secured Title Sedgwick County located at 10616 W. Maple for free hot chocolate, cookies, and of course, free photos with Santa! You will receive your free print on-site! The event will be held on Saturday from 2pm-4pm.

Wreaths Across America

Come out to the Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, December 14th from 11am-11:30am for a beautiful ceremony! Wreaths Across America will be on-site honoring veterans and decorating veteran’s graves in five cemeteries. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Illuminations at Botanica

Don’t miss Illuminations at Botanica! This is a family friendly event that offers over 2 million lights for you to enjoy! It’s a beautiful holiday display with 18 themed lit gardens! Come out on Saturday at 5:30pm to enjoy the lights and other festivities Botanica has to offer!

Wizard’s Christmas

How about painting a Wizard’s Christmas for your Saturday night out? Come out to Pinot’s Palette on Saturday from 7pm-10pm to enjoy drinks, music, and great company as you’re taught how to paint a wizard! Tickets are still available if you would like to sign up for this class.

Baby & Me Storytime

Calling all parents! If you have children that are 2 years or under, then this is the perfect event for you! Come out to Barnes and Noble on Sunday, December 15th at 11am for their Baby & Me Storytime. As a book is read, there will be activities for your little ones to participate in.

Polar Express Weekend

The Museum of World Treasures is having a Polar Express Weekend! Come out on Sunday, December 15th from 12pm-5pm to enjoy special activities! Top activities include a movie, craft stations, a hot cocoa bar, and a photo booth! Don’t forget to come dressed up in pajamas to receive a $1 off your regular admission.
