Events this Weekend

Santa’s Arrival

Santa is coming to town! Visit Towne East Square on November 15th at 6:30pm to see Santa Clause. The event will feature live reindeer, a parade led by characters from The Nutcracker, and a magical snow show! Start the holiday season out right by visiting Santa on Friday!

5th Annual Feztival of Trees

Come out to Midian Shrine on November 15th-17th and stroll through beautiful Christmas trees! On top of that, enjoy a waffle breakfast, handmade candies & cookies, holiday gifts will be available for purchase, and Santa will be on-site! Admission is $5 and children under 10 can get in for free.

Air Capital Comic Con

You’re invited to the Air Capital Comic Con on November 16th-17th at Century II! Enjoy your favorite comic books at this family friendly convention  from 10am-5pm. Plus, the convention will feature cosplay of all genres, a ton of vendors and artists, and more!

Onesie Bar Crawl

Old Town Wichita is having their 2nd Annual Onesie Bar Crawl! Come out and have some fun while dressing up in a comfortable onesie. Enjoy exclusive food discounts, drink specials , crawl games, a photo competition, and more! Tickets are still available if you want to grab yours today!

Saturday Public Skating

It’s time to put on your skates! Come out on Saturday, November 16th from 12pm-4pm for public skating at the Wichita Ice Center. This is for skaters of all ages and is something the whole family can enjoy! It’s $7 admission and skate rental is $3.

Shocker Watch Party

Are you ready to cheer on the Wichita State University’s men’s basketball team? Augustino Brewing  is hosting a Shocker Watch Party on Saturday, November 16th! Come out and root for your favorite players as you enjoy drink specials from 2pm-4pm.

Cosmic Bowling

Visit the Rhatigan Student Center on November 16th for the best cosmic blowing in town! Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes will be open to the public from 8pm to 11:45pm! Each game is only $2 per person. It’s a great deal for you and the whole family!

Holiday Market at WSU Tech

Come out to WSU Tech for their Fifth Annual Holiday Market! It’s open to the public and is a great way to get ahead on your holiday shopping. The student commons will be filled with crafts, home décor, jewelry, homemade items, and more for you to purchase! Make sure to stop by on November 16th from 10am-4pm.

Holiday Tasting Fair

Stop by Green Acres Market in Bradley Fair on November 16th from 11am-2pm! Join the market to taste all of the offerings from their Thanksgiving menu! There’s no better way to get ready for holidays than to try their turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and more! Plus, they will have homemade pies for you to try.

Presentation Gala

You’re invited to the Presentation Gala on Sunday, November 17th from 5pm-7:30pm at the Wichita Boat House! Come out the Gala to hear incredible stories from blind individuals in our community. Learn about jobs of blind individuals and how we can improve our city.
