At Eddy's Toyota it's the time of year to gather with friends, family and loved ones. It's also the time of year to travel to see them, so here's a quick checklist to keep travel light and easy before you hit the road in your Toyota!

If you're driving from Hutchinson, Wichita, Salina, Emporia, El Dorado, you might want to plan an alternate route in case of accidents, heavy traffic, or other surprises that could delay your arrival. Pack in some healthy snacks to avoid unnecessary stops. Lastly, depending on the distance, it might be time for a quick tune up or, at the very least, an oil change. Swing by Eddy's Toyota and make sure your car is in tip-top shape to avoid mechanical mishaps.

If you're flying from Enid or Tulsa, it never hurts to arrive early at the airport. You'll want to give yourself enough time to check your bags, make it through security, and – most importantly – wind down! Traveling should be fun, not stressful. Take the time to enjoy yourself, even if it's in an airport lounge. After all, this is your break, too. It's all about the journey, not just the destination!

Think about shipping your gifts instead of bringing them on the plane. Boxes might have to be unwrapped or opened for inspection (or, depending on the item, it may not be allowed at all and be confiscated). Shipping a gift avoids this risk entirely, makes your luggage lighter, and may even save you money. Wanting to give something just a tad bit bigger? Spread Christmas joy by giving the gift of a safe, reliable, dependable Toyota Camry, Tundra, Corolla, Highlander, Rav4, 4 Runner or Tacoma!

The holiday season can be so much fun. We hope you can enjoy it as much as possible. With a little bit of prep, you could easily avoid any headaches that might get in the way.

Enjoy the season – and go places!
