Events This Weekend

NBC World Series

Are you a baseball fan? If so, then you probably already know about the 85th NBC World Series that’s taking place now through  August 10th. Buy your tickets online or at Eck Stadium at Wichita State University and don’t forget to buy peanuts!

Wichita Masters Skill Camp

The Wichita Sports Forum is holding a Masters Skills Camp this Saturday, August 3rd from 8:30am-1pm. The camp will bring in College Coaches and instructors to teach young players skills to improve their baseball game. Be sure to sign up to enjoy the four sections of the camp.

Taco Fest

All ages are invited to Taco Fest this Saturday, August 3rd from 3pm-9pm! Taco Fest is being held in Cowtown this year and will be offering delicious $1 tacos along with chips & salsa. Join Wichita’s love for tacos and purchase your ticket today!

Back to School Bash

This Saturday, August 3rd from 8:30am-5pm, the Sedgwick County Zoo is throwing Wichita a Back to School Bash! This event is offering $3 admission and includes a school supply drive! Supplies can be dropped off on your way into the Zoo!

I Love Lucy Cookie Class

Do you like decorating cookies or want to learn how? Then this is the perfect class for you! Join Mark Arts on Saturday, August 3rd at 2pm for their cookie class! You can expect to learn the tricks, tips and techniques of cookie decorating along with learning new recipes. Plus, each student will leave with an “I Love Lucy” iconic heart and more!

Tanganyika Wildlife Park

You’re invited to Tanganyika Wildlife Park’s 11th Anniversary Party on Saturday, August 3rd from 5:30pm-8:30pm! The party will feature five animal encounters, food trucks, dessert, and more! Plus, enjoy a special admission price of $11 per person. Buy your ticket today!

Dwight Yoakam

Dwight Yoakam is performing at the Cotillion on Saturday, August 4th at 8pm. All ages are invited and all seating is reserved. Local favorites such as Nancy’s A-Maize-N Sandwich Booth and Wichita Brewing Company will be on-site! If you don’t want to miss out, then be sure to buy your tickets today!

Shocker Spirit Pickleball Tournament & Auction

Have you signed up for the Pickleball Tounament & Auction yet? If not,  you still have time! The tournament will be held at Chicken N Pickle on Sunday, August 4th from 9am-12pm. Reserve a spot for your team today and be ready for a fun-filled morning!

Sunday Yoga

Clear your mind with the help from local yoga instructors! Join Chicken N Pickle on the lawn from 9am-10am on Sunday, August 4th. There is limited space so be sure to RSVP today and bring your mat if you can!

Firefly Farmers’Market

Join Firefly Farm Produce for their 3rd Farmers’ Market on Sunday, August 4th from 11am-2pm! Their goal is to provide you with as wide a variety of local food buying options as possible and have great new additions to their vendor lineup! Visit their event page to learn more!

Blood Drive at Eddy’s Toyota

If you’re looking to make a difference this month, be sure to sign up for our upcoming blood drive. We have partnered with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive on Friday, August 23rd from 12pm-6pm at our dealership. The American Red Cross is facing a blood shortage and we hope you’re able to come out and donate! Ever donor will receive a $5 Amazon gift card as a small token for our appreciation. If you would like to donate, please reserve your spot today.
