Summer Night with Nature Connects
Enjoy family night at Botanical Gardens on Thursday, July 25th from 6pm-10pm! Activities will include an outdoor movie, a full interactive petting zoo, face painting, outdoor games, a bounce house, and more.
Come out and skate! The Wichita Ice Center is inviting skaters of all ages to enjoy their rink on Thursday, July 25th from 7:15pm-9:15pm.
For its third year, Dam Music Festival is back at El Dorado Lake! From July 25th through July 27th, enjoy fun lake festivities and excellent country music.
Final Friday: Taste of Tallgrass
Join the Tallgrass Film Association at Candela for light refreshments as you watch wonderful film submissions from their 36 Hour Film Competition. Support local film and enjoy this free evening of fun!
Watch the Basketball Tournament at Charles Koch Arena starting July 26th through July 28th! The tournament will feature ex-NBA players, international basketball stars, college alumni teams, and more!
Catch the longest running American Broadway musical in history at Century II on July 26th through July 28th! The musical will feature a full orchestra, great talent, and amazing sets and costumes!
Run to WSU on July 27th for their Shocker Neighborhood 5K! This 5K Walk/Run is for all fitness levels and is being hosted in hopes of bringing a sense of community to Shocker neighborhoods.
Calling all brides! Find every vendor you need at the upcoming Bridal Expo on Saturday, July 27th at Century II. You can purchase your tickets now or at the door.
It’s not summer without a splash party, right? Enjoy free water games with your little ones at Osage Park on Saturday, July 27th from 1pm-3pm.
Don’t miss out on Tomato Fest at 21st and Ridge Farmers Market! From 7am-12pm on July 27th, enjoy live music, kids’ corn hole games, face painting, food trucks, and a whole lot more.
Community Support
There’s a lot of fun activities taking place this weekend and we don’t want you to miss out! We hope our list of events will help kick start your weekend on a fun note! If you’re looking to help in the community, we are still hosting our Christmas in July Gift Drive for Wichita Habitat for Humanity. We are looking for tools to donate to their Women Build and we encourage you to view their Wish List today! We are accepting donations now through July 26th.
