Our automotive group, Brandon Steven Motors, was excited to celebrate the 25th year anniversary of Susan's Kids! Originally founded by Susan Peters, this amazing organization has spent the past quarter of a century highlighting adoptable kids around the state of Kansas and promoting them on TV, social media, and billboards in the hopes of gaining attention and ultimately finding them an adoptive home. Susan's Kids boast an impressive 40% adoption rate for all kids that move through their program, which is a huge increase from the regular 3% adoption rate for the average adoptable kids in Kansas.
This milestone was celebrated with a private event hosted at 6S Steakhouse with several supporters and sponsors of Susan's Kids from over the years. The event featured a silent auction, followed by a short program that highlighted the experiences of families who had previously adopted children through Susan's Kids. Among these families, four shared their personal stories and the process they went through to find their child, emphasizing how Susan's Kids changed their lives forever.
The program ended with a thank you to Susan for the tireless effort and the visionary leadership that she has shown over the years. Brandon Steven Motors is beyond fortunate to be able to sponsor Susan's Kids and help Susan on her journey to help these children across the state of Kansas.
