Our partnership with Susan's Kids continues to thrive, and we're thrilled to announce that we'll be hosting our annual Bag Drive once again this year! In honor of National Foster Care Month, we'll be collecting backpacks, suitcases, and duffel bags throughout the entire month of May to benefit foster children.
Why a Bag Drive?
When a child enters foster care, they are given about 10 minutes to pack their belongings and are often given a black trash bag to move their items. On average, a foster child can live in 4 different homes, with 4 different families, in up to 2 different schools per year. When they no longer have to travel by trash bag, the luggage they receive is often the wrong size, scribbled on, stained, outdated, or broken. If a child has to be in foster care, we want to help them maintain an amount of dignity as they navigate a new (often temporary) normal.

Our dealership will be hosting our Bag Drive from May 1st to May 31st. If you prefer to donate at a different location within our automotive group, we have a few more participating dealerships: We welcome your donations of new or gently used backpacks, suitcases, or duffel bags (any size & color) at our location or any other Eddy's dealership. Trash bags are for garbage...not foster kids. Your contribution will make a significant impact on the life of a foster child, and we're excited to have your support!
