The 2013 Toyota Tundra has offered up some pretty amazing changes for 2013. Changes that will enhance value, comfort, and toughness. Performance
A 4.0-liter Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) V6 is standard in both the Tundra Regular and Double Cab, producing 270 horsepower. With both uphill and downhill shift logic the 2013 Toyota Tundra is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission.
The optional 4.6-liter DOHC V8 offers 310 horsepower with the 5.7-liter DOHC i-Force V8 producing 381 horsepower. Both i-Force V8 engines are teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission, and both meet Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle (ULEV II) emissions certification requirements.
On the V8, with the available tow package, the 2013 Toyota Tundra can tow up to an impressive 10,400 lbs!
SafetyAll Tundra models feature the standard Toyota Star Safety System that includes Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, an Anti-lock Braking System , Electronic Brake-force Distribution , Brake Assist , and Smart Stop brake override technology.
Cab Sizes
The 2013 Toyota Tundra offers three difference cab styles. They are the two-door regular cab, the four-door double cab and the super-sized four-door CrewMax. Both the regular cab and the double cab are offered with the 78.7 inch standard bed or the 97.6 inch long bed while the CrewMax comes with a 66.7 inch bed. All beds are 22.2 inches deep.
