Pre-Owned Vehicles VS. Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles
We have the best selection of pre-owned inventory on our lot for customers to choose from, but did you know that not all used Toyota vehicles can be certified? Every used car and truck brought in to our dealership has to meet the following standards in order to go through the certification process:
- Must be a current model year or no older than 6 years old
- Must have 85,000 miles or less on the odometer
- If the vehicle meets the 2 above requirements, then the Toyota dealer is required to order a full CarFax Vehicle History Report and proceeds with certification as long as the report doesn’t show negative results
The Toyota vehicles that don’t meet the requirements are sold “as is” and don’t go through an intensive inspection like our certified vehicles do.
How Does a Used Toyota Vehicle Become Certified?
Once the used Toyota vehicle receives the green light from our expert technicians, the vehicle then goes through a stringent 160 point inspection, which includes the best mechanical, detailing, and appearance standards. We make the best restorations and repairs as needed and then we certify it as ready for re-sale!
