Tune in to this virtual event to benefit the ministries of Catholic Charities on Friday, August 21st from 7pm-10pm. The evening will include a selection of premium designer purses for bid, along with raffles for a Louis Vuitton, exclusive Saint by Sarah Jane set and a relaxing Stay-cation, and a limited Cabana ticket for a trip or in-home, guided wine tasting. Host a house party for 12 with dinner delivered by Georges French Bistro or be on your own Isolation Island after picking up your meal for one at Georges. Patz will be performing all of your favorites from 12pm-2pm. You can expect the best hospitality, food, and drinks when you dine with this fine dining restaurant. Spots are limited. so be sure to get your reservation in!
Mulvane Food Court
Who's ready to eat? The Original Big Lemon is hosting a food court in downtown Mulvane. The Original Big Lemon and their sister Shaved Ice Trailer will be set up at the corner of 2nd & Main during what is traditionally Old Settlers Weekend this Friday and Saturday from 10am-9pm! They will also have the Cookie Lady joining them and will have funnel cakes, pulled pork sandwiches, and smoothies available! Check their Facebook page for vendor updates.
Sedgwick County E-Waste Collection
Do you have unwanted computers, cell phones, tablets, fax-machines, and more sitting around your house? The Sedgwick County Government is here to help! The Sedgwick County Environmental Resources invites you to safely dispose of your useless E-Waste from 9am to 2pm from August 13th-15th and on the 20th-22nd at the Sedgwick County West Yard. The event is free and open to the public!
21st & Ridge Farmers Market
The Kansas Grown Farmers Market exists to generate fresh, wholesome connections! Buy from growers you personally know and trust. They take great pride in providing the community with high quality farm and artisan products in a comfortably accessible, kid-friendly environment. Visit their vibrant marketplace this Saturday, August 15th from 7am-12pm and experience this unique shopping experience for yourself!
Live Music Friday
Who is ready for some live music? Patz (a crowd favorite) is back and will be performing from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Friday, August 14th at 6s Steakhouse! You can watch him on their Facebook page from the comfort of your own home or you can see him in person in their beautiful dining room. If you choose to tune in from home, don't forget they offer curbside pickup and delivery!
Summer Sundays at the Starlite Drive-in
For the entire month of August 2020, every Sunday will be carload pricing at $14 per carload at the Starlite Drive-In! If you are attending and their regular entry pricing is cheaper, then you will pay the lower cost. Jack & Jill Mixed Bowling League
This is one of the most fun bowling leagues The Alley offers! If you like to bowl, then this is the league to check out! There are 4 members per team and there must be a least one member of the opposite gender on each team. Cost is between $13-$15 per member per week. League starts on August 23rd at 6pm and will be held every Sunday! Grab some friends and have a blast! Visit their Facebook page to learn more on how to sign up.
Outdoor Bootcamp
Join Genesis this Saturday, August 15th from 10am-11am for an outdoor, equipment free bootcamp! You will get an amazing total body workout while improving your agility, core strength, and endurance. This is an open house which means no guest fees. Be sure to bring your family and friends for a fun and safe workout at the Genesis located on 1551 N. Rock Road.
