We hosted our 3rd Annual Teacher Appreciation Event on Sunday, July 18th and we were speechless with how many teachers showed up to our dealership. The event started at 3pm in our service drive, but teachers started lining up at noon! To prepare, the marketing team ordered and collected more than $10,000 worth of school supplies. All of the supplies were placed in trunks of cars and trucks as well as in boxes along the service counter. We want to thank our community members for their help because we couldn't have done this without them. Project Teacher, multiple Sam’s Club locations, BG Products, Cox Media, Reddi, and Midwest Single Source all donated an array of supplies and funds to help make this event possible.
How Did It Work?
Our sales manager, Jason, pumped up the crowd by using a megaphone to start the event. Each teacher was provided with a huge tote and had the opportunity to fill it up with everything they needed for the upcoming school year. With hundreds of teachers lined up, we allowed 10 teachers inside of the service drive at a time to load up on markers, pens, pencil boxes, binders, notepads, snacks, lotion, shampoo, and hand sanitizer bottles. The event lasted until all the supplies were gone.
