New 2014 Toyota Yaris Design and Performance Features

The 2014 Toyota Yaris comes in 3 different trim levels, the L, the LE, and the SE. The SE comes only in a very accessible 4-door hatchback, but the Le and LE are also available as a 2-door hatchback, all with comfortable seating for 5. Every Yaris is powered by a 1.5L DOHC engine with Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence and has Front Wheel Drive, but the transmission options vary. The L and the SE can be purchased with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, but the LE only comes with the automatic. No matter which model you choose, budget-loving fuel efficiency is guaranteed with up to 36 mpg on the highway and 30 mpg around town. The 5-door SE departs from the others with sport-tuned suspension and power steering, and rear disc brakes. All models light the way with mutli-reflector halogen headlights and daytime running lights, but the SE adds fog lights, along with sport bumpers, aerodynamic rear diffuser, rear spoiler, alloy wheels and power outside mirror. The L has a fold-down rear seat, while the LE and SE feature a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat. Cruise control, audio controls on the steering wheel, remote keyless entry and power windows are reserved for the LE and SE.
